The Granville Recreation District (GRD) is seeking residents who are interested in serving on this board as a representative.
The mission of the Granville Recreation District is to develop, manage, and coordinate recreational, educational, social, cultural and athletic activities and facilities for citizens of all ages within the Granville Recreation District in an efficient, effective and sustainable manner.
The Granville Recreation District Board of Trustees is a five member board. Each member serves a 3-year term. The board includes 3 appointed members and 2 at-large members. The existing opening is for an at-large position. All GRD board positions are non-paid.
Any GRD resident interested in serving on this board should send a letter of interest and application to Justin Lodge, Chairperson, PO Box 483, Granville OH or drop off at the GRD Office at 141 East Broadway. Applications can be picked up in person or found here. Applications are due by March 21st, 2013. The Granville Recreation District is always seeking qualified, creative and positive people to become part of our team. The website is updated when specific opportunities are posted.
- The GRD employs seasonal staff to assist with team sports requiring referees, umpires, officials or judges. Please inquire at our offices for more information.
- College interns are encouraged to consider joining the staff to provide enhanced education through hands-on training from our professional staff. We recruit for the Summer Internship Program starting in January of each year and ending in May.
