POSITION SUMMARY: The Granville Recreation District (GRD) and Granville Blue Waves Swim Team is searching for qualified candidates to fill role of “Head Coach” and “Coach” for the summer swim program. Successful candidates should be energetic, create an atmosphere of engagement and excitement and be supportive of all athletes in the program.

Summer Camp Counselors

TYPE: Part-Time/ Seasonal
REPORTS TO: Day Camp Coordinator/Program Director
JOB DUTIES: Camp Counselors work at a variety of camps Granville Recreation District Camps throughout the Granville Area (including Infirmary Mound, Spring Valley Nature Preserve, Wildwood Park, and the Granville School District Buildings).  Camp counselors should be prepared to supervise, engage, and oversee campers of all ages.  Camper safety is of utmost importance and camp counselors should always be vigilant.  Typical camp counselor duties include helping with set up and tear down, assisting with camper check in and check out procedures, assisting with various games, crafts, and more.  Counselors should feel comfortable leading small groups (5-10 kids) in various activities.
