JOB DUTIES: The Granville Recreation District offers unpaid internships throughout the year. Summer internships are ideal for college students majoring in Recreation, Sports Management, Event Planning or Education. Our agency provides a wide variety of opportunities for students so they gain knowledge in all aspects of the industry. Interns will work with the Program Director to facilitate community events, summer camps, youth recreation and education programs. Interns may also work with the Youth Sports Director to facilitate youth sports games, tournaments and manage schedules. Office time will include training on Rec software, managing spreadsheets and answering the phone. Interested candidates should send an email to Lesa Miller, Program Director, Lesa Miller. We are always looking for new and interesting classes to offer. March 1, 2020 is the submission deadline for classes to be included in our Winter program guide. The Granville Recreation District is always seeking qualified, creative and positive people to become part of our team.
