PICKLEBALL – Ages 18+
Pickleball is a paddle sport (similar to a racquet sport) that combines elements of badminton, tennis, and table tennis. It was invented in the mid 1960s as a children’s backyard pastime but has become one of America’s most popular growing sports among all ages. Four players use solid paddles made of wood or composite materials to hit a perforated polymer ball, similar to a whiffle ball, over a net. The sport shares features of other racquet sports, the dimensions and layout of a badminton court, and a net and rules somewhat similar to tennis, with several modifications. Play will begin end of May.
SOCCER – Families encouraged
Schedule: Sundays, 4:30-6:00PM

This soccer program is facilitated in an open play format and teams are established each evening based on who is there to play. This program is ongoing, weather permitting. This is a family-friendly program meets at Wildwood Park on Sundays at 4:30 PM in the spring, summer, and early fall and 3:30 PM in the late fall and early winter.
AEROBICS/ TONE and STRENGTHEN CLASS
Schedule: Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 9:00-10:00 AM
Location: New Hope Lutheran Church
Registration Fee: $55 for 8 weeks
This class is a combination of aerobics and endurance, stability and coordination, with an emphasis on arms, abs and legs. Body Tone is targeted for all age groups; participants will use hand weights to help increase endurance and build bone mass. Kristina Jackson is the instructor.

Play paddle this fall – the Best Racquet Sport known to fall and winter. Platform Tennis is an American racquet sport enjoyed by thousands of people of all ages. It is the only racquet sport that players can enjoy outdoors in cold weather. This unique appeal attracts people who desire fresh air, competition and social engagement all on a chilly winter’s day or night.
