Boys in grades first through sixth are invited to participate in Granville Recreation District wrestling. The focus of our program is to promote the sport of wrestling to the Granville youth by having fun while working hard to learn the fundamental skills of wrestling. Wrestlers will be instructed in the fundamentals of wrestling in all three positions – neutral, top and bottom. Live wrestling will be included in each practice.

Weekly competitions with other Licking County youth programs will be available for those individuals that are interested as members of the Licking County Youth Wrestling League beginning the first week of January, culminating in a tournament late February.

Practices will be held in the Granville High School wrestling room (located on the mezzanine of the high school gymnasium). The first practice will be on Saturday, November 12, 11:00 AM -12:00 noon. Our season will end mid-February.
