What Do You See Mr. Groundhog?

Friday, February 1, 10-11AM, McPeek Lodge
The legend of Groundhog Day is that on the morning of February 2nd, if a groundhog can see its shadow, there will be six more weeks of winter. If it cannot see its shadow, spring is on the way. Participants will make a craft depicting a groundhog coming out of its home to “predict” the weather. Ages: 3-5

Winter Hike
Sunday, February 1o, 1-2PM, Spring Valley Nature Preserve
Join us at Spring Valley Nature Preserve for a fun hike! Learn about the history of the property, local fauna as we look for tracks and other signs that animals leave behind. Ages: All 

Inside Out “Camp-Out”
Sunday, February 17, 10AM-NOON, Granville Elementary School, Multi-Purpose Room
It’s cold out, come enjoy a camp-out inside! Head out for an adventure; play in tents, sing campfire songs with s’mores, test your skills at ice fishing, learn about constellations and more. Parents must accompany your child, so bring your lawn chair, share in the fun and enjoy a fireside chat with friends! Ages: Families

Take A Look Inside A Book
Tuesday, February 26, 6-7PM, Granville Public Library, Community Room
Come meet an author and an illustrator, of a children’s book series! There will be an author reading and illustration demonstration. Let’s all wear our pajamas, enjoy hot cocoa
and have a swell time. Optional book purchase and signing. NOTE: Children 10 and under with adult.
